Public education policies in comprehensive education in Brazil

Abstract

The present research aims to understand the implementation of public educational policy for the full-time school regime, in elementary education in Brazilian municipal public networks. The study presents public education policies in integral education in Brazil, analyzing the conception of Integral Education present in official documents of Brazilian education. This is research with a qualitative approach, based on the method of phenomenological hermeneutics. In this study, descriptive, bibliographic and documentary research is used. The results involve an analysis and reflection on public policies for Comprehensive Education in Public Schools in schools from different educational contexts.
