Abstract

The right to early childhood education is interconnected with the right to access to justice, insofar as it is up to the Judiciary, at the instigation of the Public Prosecutor's Office or the Public Defender's Office, to guarantee this in the 1988 Federal Constitution, including as a way of reducing inequalities and promoting cities to a modern level and fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals, set out in the 2030 Agenda ONU. This article aims to explore this interconnection between the right to early childhood education, access to justice and compliance with Sustainable Development Goals 04 and 16, in the capital of the state of Goiás – Goiânia. Data regarding Smart Cities, the Sustainable Development Goals, especially 04 and 16, were analyzed in the light of recent events in the capital of Goiás, especially regarding the deficit of thousands of places in municipal kindergartens.

Keywords: smart City; Goiânia; education; justice.
