Abstract

Introduction: The internship, in the physiotherapy course, is a mandatory supervised educational activity linked to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), developed in various practice settings, with the acquisition of specific competencies and skills related to the professional activity, as well as the experience of multi and interdisciplinary practice in the curricular context through teaching-service integration in the workplace. In this context, it is important to assess patient satisfaction with the services provided to the community, including quality, therapist-patient relationship, satisfaction with the technique, success and differentiation of services. Objective: Evaluate the perception of patient satisfaction in physiotherapeutic treatment during the curricular internship, considering the effectiveness of the treatment, quality of life, and the impact of entrepreneurship in health. Methodology: prospective, descriptive, quali-quantitative analytical, and cross-sectional exploratory study. Conducted in a Physiotherapy School Clinic, the sample included 21 patients with neurological and orthopedic dysfunctions. The instruments used were the questionnaires "Measuring Patient Satisfaction with Physical Therapy Care" (MRPS) and "World Health Organization Quality of Life - BREF" (WHOQOL-BREF). Results: High overall satisfaction, emphasizing efficiency in service, effective communication, and contentment. Detailed analysis indicated the need for specific approaches in promoting physical quality of life, considering the social and mental impact. Conclusion: The study emphasizes personalization in treatment protocols. The findings provide insights to enhance the quality of services provided in physiotherapy during intership, contributing to the promotion of well-being and the quality of life of patients.
