Formative assessment: proposition of an application

The production of the app presented in this paper is the result of a master's degree research project on formative assessment. The aim of creating the app, which contains the skills and strategies that provide a methodological basis for carrying out assessment, was to support the work of teachers in using active methodologies in the teaching-learning process with formative assessment. The methodology used was based on a bibliographical survey on the subject and the development of the application was founded on the traditional stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the application will simplify the teacher's access to crucial information, favoring a more effective approach to selecting and implementing teaching strategies.
