Reflections of the teaching work in the early childhood education through the analysis of the National Early Childhood Education Curriculum Guidelines and of the National Common Curriculum

This paper shows the partial results of ongoing research which analyzes the conceptions presented in the National Early Childhood Education Curriculum Guidelines and the National Common Curriculum, Brazilian national documents and mandatories, about children, teachers, school, learning, development and Early Childhood Education. This is part of a major project that tries to understand the specifications of Early Childhood Education's teaching. This research can contribute to the legal orientation of the Brazilian education system. It has been made qualitative research through the techniques of documentary and content analysis. The results show the production context of the documents, conceptions about the chosen terms, also an analysis of the content through review literature. The National Early Childhood Education Curriculum Guidelines has a more orientation of the knowledge production about the teaching work than the National Common Curriculum. The conclusion points out the relevance of other studies about the subject and the need to follow and evaluate the implementation of the documents on a daily basis.
