This article presents the feasibility of Professional Education Integrated into High School as an instrument for the effectiveness of public management to adolescents who comply with socio-educational measures at the Socio-Educational Service Center (CASE-SM/RS). The study was developed as a qualitative research. As for its nature, it is classified as applied research, as it aims to generate knowledge for practical application aimed at solving specific problems, involving local truths and interests. The data collected was obtained through bibliographic and documentary research and the development of a questionnaire. Finally, it is understood, based on the ECA and the National System of Socio-educational Measures (SINASE) and the research questionnaire, that adolescents/students who comply socio-educational measures are subjected to other appeals, which have other values, different from those of adults. These values demand much more from the teacher, the school and society. Education, as well as socio-educational teaching with the Fundação de Atendimento Socioeducativo (FASE/CASE), must be understood and assumed as a reflective and complex practice, which promote Integrated Socio-educational Secondary Education for teenagers deprived of liberty.
Keywords: CASE/SM; vocational education; public management; socioeducation.
