This work discusses possible connections between the themes of teacher training and the 2030 Agenda. This is qualitative exploratory research, carried out based on a bibliographic review. It aims to reflect on teacher training in conjunction with the 2030 Agenda propositions, presenting an excerpt from the literature review carried out for the research project “Teacher training in view of the 2030 Agenda proposal”, linked to the Education, Technologies Study Group and Society (INTERFACES/CNPq) and the Department of Fundamentals of Education at the Federal University of Santa Maria. It is concluded that despite the existence of an extensive volume of productions on teacher training, production on this topic linked to the 2030 Agenda debate is still incipient, and there is no power in the dialogue between the themes in the set of works that were analyzed.
Keywords: teacher training; 2030 Agenda; sustainable development; sustainability.
